During this experience, students will explore how classification helps to analyse, organise and communicate biodiversity data.
Overview
This session is designed to improve students understanding of biological classification through the use of case studies and hands-on examples. Students are introduced to why we use classification systems and the different ways in which we classify animals. Using the Linnaean Classification system, students will explore these concepts as they relate to conservation action.
This experience is only available onsite at Perth Zoo.
