Welcome to Perth Zoo

Celebrate National Science Week at Perth Zoo

We have created a special program for students in PP-Yr6 for this year’s National Science Week – Species Survival. More Than Just Sustainability.

Join us at the Zoo for a fun filled day which includes:

  • An interactive session with our education team, discussing how water quality effects the survival of water dwelling species in Australia – including WA’s critically endangered Western Swamp Tortoise.
  • A special zoo keeper talk, where a keeper will discuss their role in the conservation of an endangered species here at Perth Zoo.
  • Explore the Zoo independently and learn about the wildlife that Perth Zoo are conserving. On your exploration, use your provided activity sheet to gather fun facts and conservation information about the endangered species covered in your keeper talk.

Dates: Monday 12th – Friday 16th August 2024

Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm

Cost: $14.85 per student (minimum 20 students)

All fees are GST inclusive.
