The Perth Zoo Free Pass is a new initiative by the WA Government that enables all WA residents the opportunity to visit Perth Zoo for free. You can claim up to four free tickets to Perth Zoo.

A Perth Zoo Free Pass acts like the Zoo general admission ticket.

These free tickets must be redeemed between Monday 9 September– Saturday 30 November 2024.

You can claim your tickets for any combination of adult and children ie 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children etc.

Children under four enter Perth Zoo for free and do not count towards your four-ticket allocation, however require a ticket to ensure capacity at the Zoo on the day you are planning to visit.

To ensure visitor safety, Perth Zoo has a daily capacity limit on how many people can use their free tickets. We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment on your preferred date.

As an operational Zoo, there may also be times throughout the day animals may be behind-the-scenes to allow our Zoo keepers to clean and care for their homes.

However, all animals at Perth Zoo have choice when it comes to where they relax, roam and play in their home. If you cannot see an animal straight away, just like wildlife spotting in the wild, we suggest a wait watch and listen approach – more often than not, you will be delighted by what you see.
