The Black-and-white Ruffed Lemurs at Perth Zoo live the same kind of life that their wild Madagascan cousins do – the island life!
You’ll be suiting up in waterproof waders and following a zoo keeper across a submerged walkway out onto Lemur Island to get closer to these enchanting primates than any other Zoo visitor. Check out where they sleep, admire their acrobatics on the tangle of ropeways through their mini forest, watch them blissing out in sunny spots and get a snack or two from their keeper.
This encounter involves some degree of physicality. Please be mindful you will be required to wade across a pond and step up onto Lemur Island.
