Head right into the habitat to meet our two hefty Galapagos Tortoises, Cerro and Sierra, that weigh in at a whopping 240kgs! There sure is a LOT to love about them.

Important Information  

• Minimum age 6 years.
• Each child aged 6-15 must have an encounter ticket and be accompanied by an adult encounter ticket holder (16+).
• Each ticket is valid for up to two people.
• Enclosed footwear is essential.
• No brightly coloured clothing can be worn for this experience.
• Close Encounters are non-refundable.
• As a welfare-accredited zoo, all of our animals have the choice to participate in Close Encounters. Their health and happiness always comes first!
