We’re sliding into a new era for Perth Zoo with changes happening to make your Zoo even better!

This includes building a brand-new playground that will be ready for your cheeky monkeys in Spring this year.

That means, it’s almost time to say goodbye to the iconic purple monster! 

When you swing into Perth Zoo these school holidays, make like the otters and enjoy one last slide.

The current playground will close on 24 April when construction for a new and improved playground begins.

We know it’s sad to say goodbye to the current playground, but trust us, the new one is going to be a game changer!
