Celebrate National Science Week at Perth Zoo
Plant the seeds of curiosity at Perth Zoo for National Science Week 2026.
Perth Zoo has created a special program for students in PP – Year 6 for this year’s National Science Week – Seeds of Science – Nurturing knowledge for all.
- Enjoy a 90-minute guided session with one of our Zoo educators, to develop scientific ideas on supporting your local community by improving habitats
- Spend your remaining time self-guiding through the Zoo using our resources to further learning
- Connect Zoo-based learning to schoolgrounds, backyards and local environments
- Complete hands-on activities that encourage engagement and foster deeper understanding
Dates: 17 - 21 August 2026
Guided session times:
10:00am - 11:30am
OR
12:00pm -1:30pm
Your day at the Zoo will be from 9:30am until 1:30pm and includes a 90-minute guided session though either the Asian Rainforest, African Savannah or Australian Bushwalk (area based on bookings). For the remainder of your day, we will provide self-guided activities to further your students’ learning.
Cost: $15.55 per student (minimum 20 students)
All fees are GST inclusive.
