Welcome to Perth Zoo

Saving wildlife, together

Wildlife everywhere is under increasing threat of extinction. We want to change that.

That’s why, with your support, Perth Zoo works with local and global conservation partners to act for wildlife conservation, protect endangered species and reconnect people to nature.

Since 2007, our Wildlife Conservation Action fund has invested more than $4 million to empower conservation action beyond the borders of the Zoo.

We protect natural habitats, support anti-poaching units, provide community education and employment, support critical veterinary care, enable the release of native animals to the wild through scientific methods, and much more.

Conservation Partners

Through our Wildlife Conservation Action program, we directly provide funding and/or support to numerous in-situ conservation partners for species that need urgent action, and that have a connection to the species that call our Zoo home.

Fauna & Flora

Northern White-cheeked Gibbons are one of the rarest apes in the world, with less than 2,000 individuals left in the wild.
