Puteri’s carers regularly provide her with a sand tub to forage through to help with her arthritis.
One morning, Keeper Liv walked in to find that Puti had made her own enrichment tub of sorts.
She’d filled it things found in her habitat – layers of leaves, weeds, cardboard and hessian sacks.
It was presented perfectly, almost as if she was waiting for keepers to discover it!
We don’t know exactly why she made this tub, but her keepers decided to return the favour.
They cleaned it out and filled it with delicious foods like nuts, lilly pilly fruit, apple, a watermelon smear and topped off with a tasty ice-block.
