Perth Zoo is home to two beautiful Sun Bears! Now that you know a little more about the species, here are some easy ways you can tell our pair apart on your next visit. 

Our 21-year-old female Bopha is the smaller and dantier of the two. But she boasts the bigger yellow crest on her chest.

You'll notice her muzzle is normally much more vibrant in colour than Jamran, and can even look a rusty red at times. 




Meanwhile, our 23-year-old Jamran is the taller and heavier of the two but has a much smaller yellow crest. 

But the biggest giveaway? When he turns around you can see he's got an adorable grey speckled bum!
