A tentative booking can be placed for 2 weeks (14 days). Perth Zoo will reserve this date without a booking fee or signed confirmation.

If a new enquiry for the date is received, Perth Zoo will notify the client and they will have 24 hours to confirm the booking. If the Client wants to secure the tentative booking, they will need to return the booking form and pay the booking fee. A tentative booking will be released after 2 weeks if the Client does not contact Perth Zoo.

To secure your booking, the below booking fee must be paid and returned along with the completed Booking Form. The required booking fee is as follows:

Package booking fee

• Jarrah Ceremony Package $950
• Marri Ceremony Package $1850

The final account for the booking is required 8 weeks prior to the event.

All cancellations must be made in writing. Perth Zoo reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for the ceremony as follows:

Period of cancellation and cancellation fee

• More than 12 months from the ceremony date, cancellation fee of $150. Remaining amount paid, refunded in full.
• Between 2 and 12 months from ceremony date, cancellation fee 100% of deposit paid.
• Less than 2 months, 80% of the total value of the ceremony package paid.

A change of date or postponement of a ceremony may be requested in writing no less than 6 months prior to your ceremony date, if the date is available, 50% of any payments made will be transferred to the new ceremony date.

*Please note, external suppliers hired via Perth Zoo will have different cancellation and amendment conditions for services/items hired. Perth Zoo wedding coordinator to advise of fees upon requests.

Perth Zoo accepts cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments. No EFT is available.

Once a booking fee is received and a package is confirmed, the price and inclusions for that package are secure.

Perth Zoo is an outdoor venue; we will endeavour to find an alternative ceremony location within the grounds. Options are limited and subject to availability.

Yes, Perth Zoo standard regulations must be abided by. Please discuss with your wedding coordinator. Set up/pack down times are subject to availability. Additional fees may be incurred if wedding coordinators work outside a standard shift.

• Balloons
• Naked flames
• Sub-woofers

No naked flames are permitted within the venue. This includes the use of candles, fireworks and sparklers.

Any items that have been left at Perth Zoo by the Client, the Client’s guests or third-party suppliers after the event and not been collected will be disposed of within fourteen (14) days.

Perth Zoo will not be held liable for items left after the event.

We do not accept responsibility for damage to, or loss of, any client property left on the premises prior to, during or after the ceremony (including hired equipment/ goods).

Clients are financially responsible for any damage to Perth Zoo property or equipment hired by themselves, guests and third-party suppliers, prior to, during or after a ceremony

Due to quarantine requirements no pets are allowed within the venue. Assistance animals are permitted with prior approval.

Music must always be kept at an acceptable level. The use of sub-woofers is strictly prohibited. Acoustic and string instruments are permitted.

Perth Zoo is a strictly no smoking venue. Pass outs can be acquired from front entry.

Although accessible by wheelchair, some areas have natural, uneven surfaces or inclines. Zebra Cars can be utilised to assist those with mobility issues to and from the ceremony location.

City of South Perth ticketed parking is available. Please check City of South Perth website for details and maps.

Bays suited to waiting stretch vehicles (wedding cars) can be found at the car park off Mill Point Road. ACROD parking is available, however, cannot be reserved. Please discuss with your wedding coordinator.
