Our Puggle Party is designed for children under the age of 4. Adventure Party and Zoo-It-Yourself parties are geared for kids between 4-10 years old. No exceptions can be made.

Party rooms and areas are themed and decored. Due to time constraints, outside stylists are not allowed. For the safety of the animals, balloons, piñatas, glitter, confetti, noisemakers and whistles are not permitted anywhere inside the Zoo.

Birthday cake is not included in our birthday packages. You are welcome to bring your own birthday cake. Please note however, we do not have refrigeration/freezer to store your cake.

Yes, all birthday parties have the option to self-cater. For Puggle and Adventure Party Packages a small wagon will be provided for you to transport your food, gifts and supplies to and from the main entry to the party room. Bottled water is recommended for very hot days.

The birthday room can comfortably accommodate up to 30 people (with a maximum of 25 children inclusive).

If you've booked a party package, your zoo-per party coordinator will set up the room and keep the kids entertained. But remember: your party coordinator is not an actual parent. Whilst the coordinator will guide the party activities for the duration of your party, we still need the parents, guardians or carers to stay close for supervision.

Our birthday party packages offer a lot more than admission! All children over the age of 4, including the birthday family, must be included in the count even if they are members. Only registered guests will be allowed in the party room, no extra guests are allowed.

If the attending adult is a current Zoo member, they will not need to purchase an admission ticket.

For adults attending Puggle Party, Zoo entry applies for all party-goers over 4 years old.

For adults attending the Adventure Party, the birthday organiser will receive one free adult ticket for every five children booked on the party. Any additional adults/parents are required to purchase an admissions ticket at entry or pre-purchase a ticket at the current group booking rates.

We suggest you ask your guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to your party start time to allow time to park, enter and find their way to the party room. Late arrivals do not extend the time of your reservation.

Your admission ticket includes all day entry. Stay and explore the Zoo for the entire day and let your little party animal run wild.

Birthday parties are held rain or shine. Please let your guests know ahead of time to check the weather and be prepared to dress for the appropriate weather conditions.

All party changes, postponements and cancellations must be negotiated directly with the Perth Zoo Events Team. If a party is cancelled at any time, a $150 deposit is non-refundable. If a party is cancelled within ten days of the party date, all monies paid are non-refundable.
