Welcome to Perth Zoo

Especially for littlies (2-5 years), this fun and interactive early childhood program takes them on a journey through the Zoo learning about their favourite animals.

A to Zoo is a fun, factual, fast-paced eight-week term of activity about animals, especially designed for children aged two to five years.

Each week, term-pass holders will be introduced to a different animal through storytelling, craft, movement and music. After learning about the animal, the children journey through the Zoo grounds to find the animal.

Each term of A to Zoo is different and focuses on a different topic. This year, A to Zoo will focus on:

Term 1 – Australian animals
Term 2 – Asian animals
Term 3 – African animals
Term 4 – Western Australian animals

Term 2 runs for 8 classes commencing Monday 4 May. Please note, there will be no A to Zoo classes on Monday 1 June due to WA Day; those classes will be run on Monday 29 June.

Saving Wildlife doesn’t have to mean volunteering in a sanctuary or heading out on an anti-poaching patrol or auditing penguins on an ice-flow…or even running a zoo! There is no shortage of things you can do every single day from your living room, car or phone to help make a difference.
