Welcome to Perth Zoo

This jam-packed experience is a must for anyone who has a passion for our closest animal cousins.

The unique opportunity will give you a chance to meet a diverse range of primates – athletic gibbons, inquisitive squirrel monkeys, picture-perfect tamarins and teeny-tiny marmosets. Plus, some of the Zoo’s most beloved primate residents, the Sumatran Orangutans.

Help prepare breakfasts, see inside their night-quarters, watch training sessions, and even hand-feed some fruity treats. You’ll be alongside a specialist keeper all day so you can pick their brains as you go through the same daily routine as they do.
