Welcome to Perth Zoo

Last year we welcomed some very precious primates to our Zoo family, a baby ape, lemur and monkeys.

In the Asian Rainforest a golden bundle of joy was born in late autumn, May 15th, critically endangered White-cheeked Gibbon, Lulani.

Along the primate trail our moustached monkeys, the Emperor Tamarins, welcomed two sets of twins in 2019 with the youngest pair born on September 18th.

Most recently we welcomed a critically endangered Black and White Ruffed Lemur baby on November 11th from first time mum, Alina and Perth Zoo born dad, Matsiro.

See the latest milestones for our growing primate babies in the video and look out for them on your next Zoo visit!
