Join one of our Nocturnal House keepers for an exclusive behind‑the‑scenes experience inside this unique, reverse‑light habitat. You’ll learn how the Zoo supports animals that are active at night, while exploring areas normally closed to visitors.

You may also have the opportunity to step inside a habitat and observe a feeding session, offering a memorable chance to see nocturnal wildlife at their most active. As always, all animal interactions are guided by their individual needs and behaviours on the day.

 Important Information

• One ticket allows up to two people to participate together. Children aged 8 years and over may participate only when accompanied by a participating adult (16+).
• Closed‑toe shoes must be worn.
• Please avoid wearing bright colours.
• Zoo entry is not included. A valid Zoo ticket or membership is required.
• Animal Experiences are non‑refundable.
• Arrive at the meeting point no later than 5 minutes prior to your start time. Late arrivals or no‑shows will forfeit their experience with no refund or reschedule offered.
• Date changes can be made up to 24 hours prior to your booking via your Perth Zoo account.
• As a welfare‑accredited zoo, animal participation is voluntary — their wellbeing always comes first.
