Plenty of spooktacular fun! Your ticket includes entry to Boo at the Zoo, a trick-or-treat trail for kids, extended animal viewing, carousel rides, face painting, the Monster Mash Disco, roving entertainers and themed Halloween zones.

Children aged 2 years and over require a ticket. Children under 2 are free.
+ Can we wear costumes?
Yes, costumes are encouraged. Please choose family-friendly costumes that are safe and comfortable for walking around the Zoo. Check out the Zoo Shop for a spooky outfit for the event.
+ Will the animals be out during Boo at the Zoo?
We’ve extended animal viewing until 6:00pm giving you more time to see your favourite animals. The Nocturnal House will close at 5:00pm, bird aviaries will close at 5:30pm and the Australian Wetlands will close at 5:45pm.
+ Is Boo at the Zoo suitable for young children?
Yes, Boo at the Zoo is designed as a family-friendly Halloween event with fun activities, entertainment and themed areas suitable for children and families.
+ Will there be trick-or-treating?
Yes, there will be trick-or-treat stations around the Zoo for kids to enjoy. Make sure to bring your own trick-or-treat bag goodie bag.
+ Do you accept Companion Cards?
Yes, cardholders who purchase a valid ticket are entitled to bring a companion or support person free of charge. Please present your valid Companion Card at the front entrance upon arrival.
+ What if my child has a food allergy?
Treats offered at Boo at the Zoo may contain nuts, gluten, eggs, milk and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that treats or trick-or-treat stations will be allergen-free. Please check the product packaging before your child consumes any treat and closely supervise children with allergies. If your child has a severe allergy, please bring their required medication and consider bringing suitable treats from home.
