The playful pair swapped their stroll through the Zoo for a special visit to Santa’s Cabin.

As part of their enrichment walk, the pups took the chance to pounce onto Santa’s nice list!

Sunny and Luna had a tail-wagging good time saying g’day to the big man in red and exploring the magical hideaway.




Walks around the Zoo are an important part of Sunny and Luna’s routine.

Enrichment like this keeps them active and engaged as they discover new sights and smells.

Just like pet dogs, sniffing and exploring, is a natural behaviour that provides mental and physical benefits.

For the cheeky duo, enrichment is always a paw-some adventure and often ends with a little mischief!

Sunny and Luna aren't the only ones getting into the festive spirit!

From now until 24 December, visitors can step inside Perth Zoo’s enchanting Christmas cabin and share a magical moment with Santa and his cheeky elves.

Bookings are essential and can be made on our website. 

Perth Zoo is open every day of the year from 9:00am – 5:00pm, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

On New Year’s Eve and every Saturday in January it will stay open late until 7:30pm.
