Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots
Conservation education is at the heart of Perth Zoo, and we have long been a supporter of Dr Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots to connect budding conservationists and empower them to make positive environmental change.
Roots & Shoots is a global network of inspired young people taking action to improve our world. It is a youth-led action program that is currently making a difference in over 50 countries.
It builds on Dr. Goodall’s legacy and vision of placing the power and responsibility for creating solutions to big challenges in the hands of the young people.
We provide in-kind support to Roots and Shoots to raise awareness of their important work and connect young conservationists.
As a conservation agency, Perth Zoo is privileged to be the WA community’s window into the natural world and educating the next generation.
