FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
+ Can I book my younger/older child into a program that is for a different age range?
Unfortunately we are unable to accept bookings for children outside of the recommended age range for the chosen Kids and Youth Programs. There are a lot of factors that our expert Zoo educators, zoo keepers and veterinary staff consider when developing these unique, fun and educational experiences to not only ensure our animal residents are safe, comfortable and happy, but that the educational experiences are age and school year appropriate.
+ Can I change the date of my booking?
Yes, you may change the day of your booking a minimum of 7 days before the original booked date. You can do this by logging into the Perth Zoo account used to purchase the ticket. Select ‘Your Purchases’, then click ‘Change Booking’ and select a new day to attend.
+ Is there a waitlist for fully booked sessions?
There is no waiting list for our Kids and Youth Programs . If there are cancellations, the tickets will be re-released on our website. So keep an eye on our website for any updates.
+ My child can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
Tickets to attend our Kids and Youth Programs are non-refundable. Please ensure you have chosen the correct date and program for your child when booking. A no show on the day will result in the ticket being forfeited.
+ What does my child need to bring?
Please make sure your child is wearing enclosed shoes and weather appropriate clothing such as a hat, jacket and raincoat. Also pack a water bottle, morning tea and lunch to keep tummies from rumbling.
