Get up-close views as the keepers explain their behaviours, social dynamics, and how we keep our troop physically and mentally healthy. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see a special training session!
When you enjoy an Animal Experience, you’re helping support critical conservation work for wildlife around the world, including lemurs in Madagascar.

Important Information:
- All children aged 10-15 must have a lemur encounter ticket and be accompanied by a participating adult (16+) at a 1:1 Adult and Child ratio.
- Zoo entry is not included in encounter ticket purchase. A valid entry ticket or Zoo membership is required.
- Closed‑toe shoes must be worn.

- Black and white ruffed lemurs are known for their exceptionally loud vocalisations. Guests who are sensitive to noise may wish to cover their ears at times during the experience
- Participants may be in contact with nuts
- Animal Experiences are non‑refundable.
- As a welfare‑accredited zoo, animal participation is voluntary — their wellbeing always comes first.
