Come and see why Charles Darwin was so enamoured of these enormous, slow-motion reptiles.
You’ll have plenty of time to get the perfect tortoise photo when you get up-close-and-personal with some of the Zoo’s longest-lived residents, the Galapagos Tortoises. In fact, this species lives longer than almost anything else in the world! At fifty years of age, our boys are still tortoise teenagers.
You’ll be heading inside the exhibit, right up to the prehistoric-looking tortoises, and learning all about them as you entice them with a snack or two.
