Experience Perth Zoo’s NEW light exhibition – ZOOlights as the Zoo is illuminated with over 300 new sparkling lights these school holidays. 

Two weeks only – 27 September-12 October!

🏰 Glowing trails including Under the Sea, Enchanted Rainforest, Dawn of the Dinosaurs and more

🎶 Live music on the main lawn from 5:00pm

🐨 See the animals up-late until 6:00pm .The Nocturnal House and bird aviaries will close at 5:00pm.

Like a moth to a flame, you’ll be drawn in every direction as you make your way around the Zoo discovering Perth Zoo's BIGGEST ever light display!

Make it a full adventure and spend the day roaming the Zoo until 6:00pm and ZOOlights until 7:30pm.

Date: Saturday 27 September – Sunday 12 October 
 
Time: The Zoo will be open from 9:00am until 7:30pm, with the lights illuminated from 5:00pm until 7:30pm. 

Animals: The animals will be staying up late until 6:00pm. The Nocturnal House and bird aviaries will close at 5:00pm. 

Tickets: Entry is included with your general admission tickets. Perth Zoo members can enjoy ZOOlights for free. 

Entertainment: There will be music on the Main Lawn from 5:00pm. 

Food and drink: Grab a bite at the Café. And for the little ones, pick up a yummy 'little zookeeper munch box’ to feed their hungry tummies.

Zoorassic Park

As you enter Perth Zoo, look up – an endangered White-cheeked Gibbon may be brachiating right overhead!

The Gibbon Crossing is a stunning new habitat designed for you to experience the sky-high agility of one of the most captivating and rare primates.

Stay for ZOOlights and see the hippos and water lilies light up the lake below the gibbons.
