Bring your questions and your camera to the Sun Bear exhibit to meet a zoo keeper and learn all about the smallest and rarest of bears. (This talk will include a feed or enrichment activity.)
This animal is so secretive and endangered that even now very little is known about their wild behaviour in their Southeast Asian forest homes. We do know that they’re mostly nocturnal and like to rest and soak up the sun in trees. The good news is they rouse especially for treats from their keeper, making this an excellent chance to see this secretive bear and learn more about our two special bears who were rescued from the illegal wildlife trade
