Important Information
- Minimum age 8 years
- All children aged 8-15 must have an Orangutan Experience ticket and be accompanied by an adult experience ticket holder (16+)
- Enclosed footwear is essential.
- If you are experiencing any cold or flu‑like symptoms, you will not be able to participate in this experience. Rescheduling can be arranged through your Zoo account or by contacting the Animal Experiences team during office hours.
- For the health and safety of our primates, guests who present on the day with any cold or flu‑like symptoms will not be permitted to participate in this experience. In these circumstances, the experience will be forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.
- Animal Experiences are non-refundable.
- As a welfare-accredited zoo, all of our animals have the choice to participate in Animal Experiences. Their health and happiness always comes first!

- Nuts are present in the facility and may be used during animal training. If you have allergies or related concerns, please contact the Events team before booking.
